“Dean?” Sam asked shakily, staring at his brother.

“It’s okay, Sammy.” Dean smiled. “I finally figured out how to save you.” He raised the gun to Sam’s eyelevel. One thought played through his mind.

To kill him I have to save him to save him I have to kill him…

“Dean, please…” Sam pleaded, desperate. For once Sam didn’t get it.

“I’m sorry Sammy. Honest I am.” Dean said, Sam’s eyes pleaded with him to stop.

Dean pulled the trigger. Taking a deep breath, Dean closed his eyes, and followed his little brother, just as he had his whole life.

“Don’t move, maybe she’ll go away.”

“Dude, she’s not a T-Rex.” Dean rolled his eyes, trying not to let her know he could see her. The chicks he found in bars. Dean had bought her a drink and listened to her ramble on for half an hour about soulmates before ditching, sticking her with the bill.

“Dean, my love! Why do you run from me?” Her voice made Dean’s stomach clench.

“Yes, why do you run from your love, oh Dean?” Sam chuckled, voice high and breathy.

“Shut up.”
